Alia Shawkat, born April 18th, 1989 in Riverside California (United States) She is one of the Television's most successful and well-known Actresses. Maeby Funke on Fox's Arrested Development. This role was a winner of her TV Land Future Classic Award. Ellen Page was her co-star in Whip It. Shawkat was Hannah in State of Grace, from 2001-2004. Shawkat played Maeby Funke for the entire run of Arrested development between 2003 and 2018, as part of the cast that remained. Shawkat's performance was sometimes singled out for praise. Brian M. Palmer noted that she was among the brightest lighthouses in a universe dominated by other bright lights. Scott Weinberg, of eFilmCritic said she was hilarious. The A.V.
